OUR PROGRAM

Our Objective Organization (O.O.O) has developed a whole range of flexible approaches to confront the school dropout issue at its roots.

O.O.O’s approach takes into account that the bulk of positions within the job market are for clerks, computer operators, office assistants, sales people, guards, restaurant staff, factory workers, etc. and that these positions do not require a full academic education.

O.O.O aims to provide graduates with: a good command of spoken and written English, basic numeracy, office skills, a good attitude to work, self-discipline, self-esteem, punctuality, belief in self, ethical values, inter-personal skills, and civic consciousness.

This combination means that our graduates can compete successfully in the “real world”. The strong network among O.O.O graduates also provides a significant additional advantage.

O.O.O’s training philosophy can be summarized as:

  • anything given free is not appreciated or valued;
  • mere knowledge or awareness does not produce change; participants live out the principles that they are learning in their day to day lives; and
  • women will enjoy the same respect and opportunities as men, only when they are empowered to resist abuse and when both men and women recognize the equal rights of women.

O.O.O. offers a variety of flexible programs to suit any particular situation, however there are two primary programs that are managed at the school. Students come from local and nearby villages, pagodas, schools or other rural communities.

Three Month Program and Part -Time Program

The school offers a three month live in program which focuses on English language competency and basic life and job skills.

Additionally, a part time non live in class training program is offered also to local students which is designed to supplement other forms of education
